Boscia is a skin care company that produces preservative and paraben free products.  Parabens are the most commonly used preservatives in skin care products.  They are one of the many types of preservatives that are known to cause irritation, dryness, redness and breakouts.  Boscia makes it very clear that although many products claim “paraben-free” it is not the same as preservative-free.  There products are made 100% preservative free.

Boscia Restorative Eye Treatment is one of Boscia’s many preservative free products.  It claims to treat under eye bags, puffiness and fine lines that can form under our eyes as we age.

I really like that Boscia’s makes there products preservative free.  Not only is it safer for your skin but especially the area around your eyes.  It takes the worry out of trying a new eye cream.  Let’s see if there is more to Boscia Restorative Eye Cream than just being preservative free.

How will Boscia Restorative Eye Treatment Help My Under Eye Bags?

Boscia Restorative Eye Treatment contains a blend of peptides, vitamins and herbs that claim to keep the eyes hydrated, nourished, and calm.  Their ingredients promise to greatly diminish the appearance of under eye bags.

1. Peptides are one of the best anti-aging ingredients on the market when it comes to fighting fine lines and wrinkles.  They naturally promote the production of collagen and elastin which helps to firm and strengthen the delicate skin around the eyes.
2. Sodium Hyaluronate hydrates the skin by not only attracting water but retaining it.
3. Vitamin E and Canadian Willow herb Extract are both antioxidants that protect the skin from environmental damage that can cause premature aging.
4. Jojoba Leaf is an antioxidant that protects skin from free radical damage.  It protects the skin but also nourishes to help prevent the signs of aging.
5. Willow herb contains natural anti-inflammatory properties.  It helps to calm irritation and redness.

While all these are great anti-aging ingredients, Willow Herb is the most likely to reduce the appearance of under eye bags.  Since under eye bags are the main focus of this product, I’m surprised they did not include more anti-inflammatory ingredients.

I think this eye cream will keep your skin hydrated, nourished, and reduce fine lines.  I’m still not completely confident it will drastically reduce your under eye bags and although most of the customer reviews I read were very pleased with their results, they did not mention under eye bags.
