What is Clinique All About Eyes?

Clinique All About Eyes is an anti-aging eye cream that promises to reduce the appearance of fine lines, dark circles and puffiness around the eyes.  It also claims to wear easily under makeup and actually help to hold it in place.  Basically, it promises to do all the things we expect an eye cream to do plus a little more.

The first question I ask myself when I begin to research an eye cream is, “What’s in it?”  There is nothing more important to me than ingredients.  First of all, I want quality ingredients that do what the product is promising but more importantly I am using this product on the skin around my eyes. I don’t want anything that could potentially seep into my eyes and cause problems.

So let’s take a look and see what Clinique All About Eyes is made of.

As I said before, I am really big on ingredients.  So you can imagine my disappointment that Clinique does list any of there ingredients online.  So, due to lack on information I cannot tell you what Clinique All About Eyes is made of or how it works to diminish fine lines, puffiness and dark circles or how it helps to hold our makeup in place.  Bummer, huh?

What I do know about this product is that it is not preservative free.  In my personal opinion, all eye creams should be preservative free.  Preservative are full of potential irritants, harsh chemicals and allergens that can cause our skin all kinds of problems.  I don’t want preservatives anywhere near my eyes!

I also know that this product is fragrance free, allergy tested, and ophthalmologist tested.  It claims to be safe for all skin types and can be used morning and night.  Since, I have so little information about this product, it leaves me to base my opinion off of customer reviews.  Let’s see what customers have to say about Clinique All About Eyes.

“It is refreshing and cooling in the morning. It does help alleviate some circles and puffiness upon application. But as far as eye cream goes there are much better products out their that have more long term results.”

Based on lack of information and only average customer reviews, I would recommend that you keep looking.  It sounds like this product does wear great under makeup but what the point of using an eye cream doesn’t do anything else?
