Philosophy Eye Hope is a lightweight anti-aging eye cream that promises to reduce the appearance of fine lines, dark circles, and puffiness.  This eye cream claims to do it all, and has the research to back it up.

In a 6 week clinical study, 83% of participants showed improvement in fine lines, 95% of participants showed improvement in dark circles, 85% of participants showed improvement in puffiness and 98% of participants showed improvement in smoothness.

I like when skin care companies post clinical studies, however, the real test is what is in the product.  Let’s see what Philosophy Eye Hope is made of.

How Does Philosophy Eye Hope Work?

Philosophy Eye Hope contains 4 active ingredients that work synergystically to fight fine lines, puffiness and dark circles.  The eye cream should be used morning and night after cleansing the skin for best results.

1. Alpha Glucosyl Hesperidin reduces dark circles and puffiness by promoting circulation on the surface of the skin.
2. Palmitoyl Tripeptide-3 is a combination of amino acids that stimulate natural collagen production to help firm the delicate skin around the eyes.
3. Dipalmitoyl Hydroxyproline is a triple-action anti-wrinkle agent and moisturizer.  It works to strengthen collagen, protect elastin against enzyme breakdown, and defend against free-radical damage.
4. Beta Glucan enhances the skins natural repair capabilities by boosting its natural defense system.

Should You Buy Philosophy Eye Hope?

I think this is a good product to try.  Philosophy is a very reputable brand and usually lives up to it’s promises.  It contains quality anti-aging ingredients, although I wish it included a few more anti-inflammatory ingredients but I guess no product is perfect.  Well, maybe a few.

Philosophy Eye Hope costs $48 for a .5 oz bottle which I find to be a tad expensive.  However, if you are familiar with Philosophy products, then you know this isn’t a bad buy considering the brand.

Overall, Philosophy Eye Hope had positive customer reviews reporting a difference in puffiness, dark circles and some fine lines.  If you are searching for a cream to treat deep wrinkles, I do not think this cream is for you.
